EEG Technologists Needed for Hospitals !

Long Distance Education

Since the school operates as a hybrid long distance educational provider, the faculty, students and diagnostic equipment are not located within the school facility. Students receive didactic instruction on-line through Webstudy™, a web based course management system, which allows for 24/7 access to classes and materials. In addition, students receive resident clinical training at a local Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) accredited laboratory or medical center near them.

Course work and lectures are presented by experienced faculty members who are board certified in their field and have (on average) over fifteen years of clinical experience. You'll find that classroom discussions are geared toward common, real-world work challenges, so you can begin using your education immediately on the job. Additionally, all of our faculty are professional, and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.

ASET Scholarships

Several Students have called about the ASET scholarships that are available to the IHS students.

Scholarships

American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists Foundation:

The ASET Foundation funds activities in three major areas as noted below. Funds made available through the grants and scholarship will vary depending upon the specifics of the program.

  • Educational grants are made available to students attending CAAHEP accredited END programs. The application deadline for student education grants is June 1. Students who are members of ASET are given priority when grants are determined and it’s important to include all requested information with the application. The grant winners are typically notified shortly upon the conclusion of the ASET Annual Conference.

  • Scholarships are awarded to ASET members to attend ASET conferences, seminars and other educational opportunities. Because ASET holds events throughout the year, be sure to check the appropriate deadline for the event you wish to attend.

  • Special projects relating to curriculum, educator or clinical site development, as well as special publications can be considered for a Foundation grant.
